The hall table is useful to family members as well as to visitors to the home. The table top can hold decorative items or perhaps a dish for calling cards when guests are expected. On most days the table my hold mail, gloves, keys or other personal items. The metal hooks may be black, brass or pewter. The hooks were handy for hats or scarves. The mirror is wonderful for last minutes checks when putting on or taking off a hat.
